The Growth of Brian Austwick Photography
When we moved to Cumbria in April 2022, we didn’t know a single person. Setting up a new business in an area where no one knew who we were was a huge challenge. We started attending regular networking events, building our brand, and forming those all-important relationships, a vital step to make our business succeed.
By joining multiple networking groups, we steadily grew our presence and reputation. Today, Brian Austwick Photography is recognised across Cumbria as an up-and-coming business, working with a wide variety of clients and industries throughout the region.
In March 2025, we joined BECBC, and it’s been one of the most rewarding decisions we’ve made. The focus on collaboration, connection, and relationship building within the cluster has been invaluable. We’ve built fantastic relationships and more importantly, genuine friendships.
We’ve already had the pleasure of working with several BECBC members, and new opportunities continue to arise.
Did we make the right choice joining BECBC? Absolutely. Not only have we been recognised by the cluster and shortlisted for the upcoming BECBC Awards as a finalist for Micro Business of the Year, but we’re also proud to be the official photographers for the awards themselves.
